SELF DEFENCE CLASSES

Jasper generally has a low opinion of the value of teaching fighting techniques to people who are not naturally adept at fighting, but between the fact that it's her assigned job and her gradual grudging acceptance of the differences that come with working with humans and other organic species, she has persisted anyway. C'mon, it's not like she's going to not do her job.

She is not an excellent teacher – she isn't very patient and she is kind of a bully – but she does at least know her stuff when it comes to hand-to-hand combat. Mostly. She is at least getting more and more used to the fact that most of the people she's teaching don't have her strength or stamina and that none of them can do sonic the hedgehog spin dashes, and not holding people to impossible standards – although if you're doing below average by class standards she will probably be rude to you.

Also important to note is that Jasper doesn't really see the point of limiting this stuff to just defence and has probably been teaching people how to actively aggress things as well.

So that's, you know, the broad basics of it, and what you can assume your character knows about Jasper if they've ever been to one of her classes, but I would super appreciate it if you could reply here with the following useful info! in return I will tell you how Jasper feels about them.

Has your character ever attended one of Jasper's classes, or do they attend regularly: Semi-regular!
How good is your character at punching, getting punched, etc: Quite good. Fully human with human stamina and durability, but has considerable military hand-to-hand training and has kept in shape. Can give her some human-anatomical-structure tips and pitch in as a sparring/demonstration partner, and is very interested in learning strengths and weaknesses of the various nonhuman types and their fighting styles.
How well do they take to having eight and a half foot tall orange women tell them they are a wimp: Respectful in class (though passive-aggressive if it becomes personal in a way that feels unjustified), sassing back out of class.
